A ѻý fruit packer wants to feed the country.
Sandher Fruit Packers has launched the Sandher Feeds Canada program, which will donate fresh fruit to food banks, schools, shelters and community organizations, and support community events.
The program launched recently in Richmond, where Sandher was the title sponsor of a two-day soccer festival. On Canada Day, Sandher provided free tickets to children and youth to a Vancouver Canadians baseball game.
“Feeding communities means more than just fruit. Itѻý about nourishment in every sense,” a news release said. “Over the next year, ‘Sandher Feeds Canada’ will support a variety of causes across sports, arts, culture, health care, and poverty relief.”
