It was a tough night all around for the ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½ Falcons on Monday night opening up their final road swing of the season falling 11-1 in Bellingham to the Bells.

In the bottom of the first inning the Bells scored a pair of runs off starter Gus McKay with the second run scored being the eventual game winner. Their offence pounded 14 hits, and they scored three runs in the third and fifth innings, then added two more in the sixth and one for good measure in the eighth.

In all the Falcons used three pitchers who combined for eight walks and only two strikeouts.

Offensively the lone run came in the top of the fourth. Tyler Garritano smoked a one-out double, then scored when Jace Nagler followed up with an RBI single to leftfield. The bats could only muster five hits with Logan Groh recording two of them.

The Falcons (8-11) conclude their stand in Bellingham tonight and travel to Edmonton for the weekend. ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½ will be back home Monday against Wenatchee for a 6:35 p.m. start.
